Sieraków

Sieraków ( German Zirke ) is a city and seat of the urban and rural community in Poland. The place is located in the powiat Międzychodzki the Wielkopolska Region.

History

In Zirke there was a state-owned farm. 1919 had the Royal Prussian Posen'sche State Stud in the " Friedrich- Wilhelm- stud " to Neustadt (Dosse ) to be evacuated, as the province of Posen fell to the Second Polish Republic after the Poznań uprising ( 1918-1919 ) for the most part.

Since 1939 Zirke was again part of the administrative district poses in 1941 the newly formed district Birnbaum ( Warta country), Reichsgau Warta country.
