Sigatoka, Fiji

Sigatoka [ ˌ siŋatoka ] (also: Singatoka ) is a city on the island of Viti Levu, which is one of the Fiji Islands. It is located in the southwestern part of the island and is drained by the Sigatoka River. The river gave the city its name. In the census of 2007, the city reached a population of approximately 9,622 inhabitants.
