Sigurður Ingi Jóhannsson

Sigurdur Ingi Jóhannsson ( born April 20, 1962 in Selfoss ) is an Icelandic politician ( Progress Party ).

Since 2009 he is member of the Icelandic parliament Althingi for the Southern constituency. He is vice chairman of the parliamentary clubs of the Progress Party. He is also a member of the Committee for Fisheries and Agriculture and Member of the Icelandic delegation to the West Nordic Council. Since 23 May 2013, is Environment Minister and Minister of Fisheries and Agriculture in the Cabinet Sigmundur Davíð Gunnlaugsson.
