Siim-Valmar Kiisler

Siim Valmar - Kiisler ( born November 6, 1965 in Tallinn) is an Estonian politician.

Life and Politics

Siim Valmar - Kiisler laid in 1984 graduated from high school in Tallinn. He then studied at the Technical University of Tallinn. In 1991 he got his degree in the subject line automated systems.

From 1995 to 2003 Siim Valmar - Kiisler was Chairman of the company AS Eesti Glacier. From 1999 to 2001 he was mayor of the district of Tallinn city center. 1999 and 2002/ 2003 he was a member of the City Council of Tallinn. From 2003 to 2007 he was a deputy in the Estonian Parliament ( Riigikogu ). In 2007 he was appointed Deputy Economic and Infrastructure Minister of the Republic of Estonia.

On 22 January 2008, Siim Valmar - Kiisler in the Cabinet of Prime Minister Andrus Ansip Regional Minister. He succeeds by Vallo Reimaa, who had to give up his office after intra-party disputes. To Kiisler jurisdiction belongs mainly public administration in Estonia. He joined the Conservative Party Isamaa yes Res Publica Liit to. With the end of the center- right government of Prime Minister Ansip in March 2014 Kiisler resigned from the Cabinet.
