Silicon Dream
Silicon Dream was a dance project by Klaus Munzert (born 14 July 1957 Offenburg / Baden, Germany ), a singer, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter. The Act was supplemented by the dancers Angelo and Danny.
Biography
Klaus Munzert sang in various bands, studied economics in Freiburg and worked for two years in a record store. After jobs in various record labels, such as as label manager for ZTT Records and Iceland Records, where he among other things, U2 supervised, he created in 1987 in a Munich studio Silicon Dream. The typical sound, a mix of electronic music and Italo - disco, was often late at night, by the use of samplers (eg EMU 3). Inspiration came from models such as Kraftwerk and Depeche Mode, but also by Frankie Goes to Hollywood, and 16 BIT OFF.
