History
Silk Electric was the second album, which was released by RCA Records. It is especially famous Andy Warhol -designed album cover, with Ross' face in profile, as well as the cover illustration for the Grammy -nominated single Muscles. It was the second album, which the singer self-produced, with the exception of the aforementioned hit, which Michael Jackson wrote and produced. The album was honored by the Recording Industry Association of America with gold.
