Silverdale is a place ( census-designated place ) on the Kitsap Peninsula in Kitsap County in the U.S. state of Washington with 19 204 inhabitants ( 2010). It lies between the largest city of the county in the south Bremerton and Poulsbo in the north and is separated only by Bainbridge Iceland and the Puget Sound from Seattle, the largest city in the state, to the east.

There is a student exchange with the Otto -Hahn -Gymnasium in Tuttlingen.
