Simon Emil Ammitzbøll

Simon Emil Ammitzbøll ( born October 20, 1977 in Hillerød ) is a Danish politician and since 2005 Member of the Folketing.

Life

After school Ammitzbøll studied at the University of Roskilde Social Sciences, where he achieved his Bachelor's degree in 2003. Besides his studies to Ammitzbøll committed politically and became a member of the party Venstre Det radicals.

On 13 October 2008 Ammitzbøll left the social-liberal party Det Radical Venstre and founded in October 2008 together with like-minded politicians, the Danish party Borgerligt Centrum new. On 16 June 2009 Ammitzbøll announced that he enters the party Liberal Alliance and left the newly formed party Borgerligt Centrum. Ammitzbøll is married to Henning Olsen and lives with him in Copenhagen.
