Simon Khan

Simon Khan ( born June 16, 1972 in Chingford, England ) is an English professional golfer on the European Tour.

The age of twelve he saw Seve Ballesteros at his Open Championship victory and decided to learn the game of golf with the help of his grandfather. He was professional golfer in 1991, but only after the turn of the millennium Khan succeeded in establishing itself on the European Tour. In the 2004 season, he scored the first tournament success at the Celtic Manor Wales Open and it reached number 27 in the European Tour Order of Merit. 2006 Khan managed second place in the prestigious BMW PGA Championship, giving him a cash prize in the amount of 472 220 euros earned. 23 May 2010 Khan won this tournament with a 66- round on the final day. For this victory he was awarded 750,000 euros and secured qualification for the European Tour for the next five years.

The sworn Arsenal fan has been married to his wife Lesley since 2002 and has one child.
