Simon Laner

Simon Laner ( born January 28, 1984 in Bolzano ) is an Italian football player. The midfielder was in 2003 with the Italian U-19 national team champions.

Career

Clubs

Laner debuted in 2002 in the first team Hellas Verona in Serie B. In order to gain match experience, he was loaned from 2003 to 2006 at Carrarese Calcio and Real Castelnuovo in the C2 series. After a brief return to Verona followed by another loan, this time to the U.S. also fourth-rate Sanremese. 2007 Laner was obliged Pro Sesto from Serie C1 club AC, 2008, he moved to UC AlbinoLeffe in the series B. After good performances he received in the 2010/11 season the chance to play for Cagliari Calcio in Serie A, and came right up to the season to its first use. In the total of 18 games for Cagliari but he could not sustainable prevail and the club gave up a final commitment of the grown Gargazzone in South Tyrol midfielder. As a result, he returned for a season to AlbinoLeffe. In 2012 he moved to Hellas Verona.

National

Laner was active for the U-19 and U-20 National Team in Italy. In 2003 he won with Italy U-19 Football Championship.
