Simon MacCorkindale

Simon Charles Pendered MacCorkindale ( born February 12, 1952 in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England; † October 14, 2010 in London) was a British film and stage actor, film producer and director, screenwriter and film composer.

Life

First, Simon MacCorkindale wanted to be like his father, a pilot in the Royal Air Force, but his poor eyesight made ​​this career choice impossible.

Therefore, he graduated after attending the high school to study at a drama school. Then he began first experience in the theater to collect and had his television debut in 1973 in the mini-series Hawkeye, the Boy Scouts. Since then, MacCorkindale was in many well-known television and film productions before the camera. Its striking face often gave him roles as a gangster or criminal. So he was in 1977 in Jesus of Nazareth with, 1978 in Death on the Nile, 1983 in Jaws 3 -D and 1995 in Ice cold fury.
