Simon Sutour

Simon Sutour ( born August 18, 1952 in Sète ) is a French politician. He is a member of the Senate since 1998.

Sutour lived since his childhood in Nîmes and was professionally administrative officer. He worked for the General Council of the department of Gard, before leaving for the Socialist Party moved to the Senate in 1998. In 2008 he was re-elected. He was interim secretary of the Senate. Since 2011 he has been President of the Commission for European Affairs.
