Louis Laget

Jacques Louis Laget ( born September 20, 1821 in Meyrueis, † November 28, 1882 in Nîmes) was a French politician. He was from 1871 to 1876 Member of the National Assembly, 1876-1882 Member of the Senate.

Laget in 1847 in Nîmes admitted as a lawyer. Only a year later he was appointed sub-prefect in Uzes. In 1865 he became a member of the General Council of the department of Gard. In a by-election in 1871, the collection succeeded him in parliament, where he joined the moderate left. The following year, a new election was necessary, he could win again. 1876 ​​Laget ran successfully for the Senate. He died in 1882 during the administration period.
