Simone Dinnerstein

Simone Andréa Dinnerstein ( born September 18, 1972 in New York) is an American pianist.

Life

Dinnerstein is a daughter of the painter Simon Dinnerstein. She studied at the Manhattan School of Music (Pre- college programs ), including together with Solomon Mikowsky. Later, she transferred to the Juilliard School, where he was a pupil of the pianist Peter Serkin. With his support, she was later adopted by Maria Curcio in London as a student.

In the years 2005 and 2007, Dinnerstein appeared as a guest pianist at the Bard Music Festival at Bard College in the Hudson River.

Currently (2011) she lives with her husband, Jeremy Greensmith and son ( * 2001) in Brooklyn.
