Simunul, Tawi-Tawi

Simunul is a municipality in the Philippines the fourth income class province of Tawi Tawi. In the census on 1 May 2010, a population was determined by 34 538, mostly Muslims.

The language is Sama, as Sinama or Samal known. Anggeblich came in Simunul to the first Muslims in the Philippines. The first mosque in the Philippines was built there by Sheikh Makhdum Karimul and is called Sheikh Karimul Makhdum mosque. There are six beaches in Simunul.
