Sinanpaşa is a town and a district of the Turkish province of Afyonkarahisar. The city is located about 30 kilometers west of the provincial capital of Afyonkarahisar.

The district is located west of the center of the province. It is bordered on the northeast by the central district, on the southeast by Suhut, on the southwest by Sandıklı and Hocalar and to the northwest by the provinces of Usak and Kütahya. Through the town and the county runs from west to east, about five kilometers north of the county seat, the European Route 96 from Izmir to Sivrihisar. North of the road, the river flows Bacak Deresi. He is dammed nine kilometers north of the reservoir Sinanpaşa Düzağaç Baraji (also Akdeğirmen Baraji ) and flows east into the lake boar Gölü.
