Sir Thomas Gage, 7th Baronet

Sir Thomas Gage, 7th Baronet of Hengrave, Suffolk, (* March 2, 1781, † December 27, 1820 ) was a British botanist.

On January 9, 1809, he married Mary Anne Browne. The library of the University of Cambridge, Department of Manuscripts and University Archives, preserved on sketchbooks of Gage from the years 1807 to 1811. The British botanist Richard Anthony Salisbury named the plant genus Gagea from the lily family in honor of Gage.
