The Sisu is a Finnish icebreaker, which was ordered in 1971 at the Wärtsilä shipyard in Helsinki. The Sisu is 101.6 meters long and 23.8 meters wide. She has a draft of 8.3 meters. With a shaft power of 16.2 megawatts they reached open water a speed of 19 knots. Her home port is Helsinki.

The Sisu and Urho her sister ship, the largest Finnish icebreaker. The name is derived from the Finnish word sisu.

Owner of the ship is the Arctia Shipping Oy, successor company of the Finnish Shipping Enterprise ( Finstaship ).
