Action
Eva Rüttgers is a young teacher in a German provincial town. She becomes engaged to the educator Dr. Kurt Hiller. She learns by chance from a four -year-old illegitimate son Hiller. Secretly, she goes to the foster parents of the little Gustav and returns with him back to the city. What was planned as a surprise for her fiancé, is becoming a moral scandal. Hiller does not recognize his own son and holds him like the rest of the city for the illegitimate son of Eve, who has intentionally concealed this son and I will bring him now into the marriage.
