Skarpnäck metro station
Skarpnäck is an underground station of the Stockholm Metro. It is located in Skarpnäcks Gård district. The station is served by the Gröna linjen the Stockholm subway system. It is linjen terminus of the line T17 of Gröna. The station is one of the more moderate frequented stations of the metro network. On a normal working day rise 7,000 commuters here.
The station was taken on August 15, 1994 as the 100th and last stop of the Tunnelbana in operation, as the underground portion of the Gröne was inaugurated linjen between Bagarmossen - Skarpnäck. This was also the last section which was newly built for the Tunnelbana. The platforms are about 25 feet below the ground. Stockholm Central Station is approximately nine kilometers.
