Skawa

The Skawa ( German Look ) is a right tributary of the Vistula in Poland.

It rises near the village of Spytkowice, 12 km west of the city Rabka, in Beskydy. The Skawa first runs to the east, but turns its course to the northwest. Are the cities Jordanów, Maków Podhalański, Sucha Beskidzka and Wadowice on its banks. In its lower reaches it flows past to the north of the city Zator. It opens by about 78 km at the village Smolice above Zator into the Vistula.
