Skronie

Skronie ( German Krühne ) is a small village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship and is part of the municipality Gościno ( United Jestin ) in the powiat Kołobrzeski ( Kolberg ).

Geographical location

Skronie lies a kilometer south of the Persante ( Parsęta ) on the edge of a small side valley and with Mołtowo ( Moltow ) and Karścino ( Kerstin ) connected by roads. In the north- east lies a vast forest area, the Las Skroński ( the Krühne ).

History

Documented today Skronie ( Crune ) first met in 1276 in appearance than the Camminer bishop Hermann von Gleichen confirmed the Cathedral Kolberger their possessions. Krühner mill

The Krühner mill was about two kilometers north of Krühne and nearly seven kilometers northwest of Kerstin ( Karścino ) property, located on the pent-up a small mill pond formerly known as Loss Bach in here about 500 yards wide valley of Persante ( Parsęta ). Church

In predominantly Protestant population Krühne belonged until 1945 to the parish Kerstin ( Karścino ) in the church Belgard ( Białogard ) in the ecclesiastical province of the Church of the Old Prussian Pomerania Union.

Since 1945, almost without exception Catholic population lives in Skronie. The village is now part of the parish Robun ( Rabuhn ) in the Office of the Dean Gościno ( United Jestin ) in the Diocese of Koszalin - Kolobrzeg of the Catholic Church in Poland. Evangelischerseits Skronie the parish is affiliated to the good shepherds in Koszalin ( Koszalin ) in the Diocese of Pomerania - Greater Poland the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland, their nearest place of worship is the Church of St. George in Białogard ( Belgard ).

School

In Krühne existed until the late 1920s, a private school, which was abandoned after the incorporation of the town by Kerstin ( Karścino ).
