The Skrzyczne ( German: Rauh Kogel ) is a 1257 m mountain in Poland near the town of Szczyrk. The Skrzyczne is the highest mountain in the Silesian Beskid.

Use

From Szczyrk a two-seater leads to the mountain. There are hiking trails and ski runs of all difficulty levels. At the summit there is a PTTK Mountain cottage. The summit can be reached from the marked Szczyrker downtown via two paths. Other ( marked ) trails to the summit begin in Buczkowice, on the Malinowska Skala and in Lipowa. From the summit of the mountain there is a view on Szczyrk - Bila, Żywiec Żywiec the lake and the mountains Beskid, Magura, Klimczok, Skalite and Piľsko. In good weather you can see parts of the Tatras.

The ski Skrzyczne

The north side of the mountain is part of the area " COS Skrzyczne ". This consists of two chairlifts, 2 pull lifts and a total of 11.2 km of slopes. The black "FIS ", an international competition admission of the organization of the same name. In August 2013, the construction of the upper chairlift from Hala Jaworzyna began to mountain peaks. This was carried out by the Leitner AG, which built a detachable 4-seater chairlift with yellow precipitate hoods instead of the old 2- chair lift to December 2013. The investment was partly financed by the European Union.
