Sky Open 2013

The Sky Open 2013 took place from 17 to 12 November 2013, Cairo, Egypt instead. The Squash Tournament of men was part of the PSA World Tour in 2013 and belonged to the category International 50th

Defending champion was Nick Matthew, who won the tournament in its last staging in 2010 against Karim Darwish in the final. He did not present himself to defend his title. Darwish reached as Topgesetzter again the final, defeated in this but his compatriot Mohamed El Shorbagy with 2:11, 7:11 and 8:11. For El Shorbagy it was the second tournament win of the season and the seventh of his career.

The field of the Lord competition consisted of 32 players, eight grid positions for qualifiers. Per Wildcard the reigning world junior champion Karim El Hammamy received a starting spot in the main draw.

Prize money and world ranking points

In the tournament the following prize money and world ranking points were paid or credited for each round is reached. Players who entered from qualifying into the main draw, the qualifying points were given in addition to those for the respective round is reached. Otherwise, the amounts are not cumulative. The total prize money was $ 50,000.
