Sky Saxon

Sky Saxon ( actually Elvern Richard Marsh, born August 20, 1937 in Salt Lake City, Utah, † June 25, 2009 in Austin, Texas ) was an American rock 'n' roll singer. His most famous group was in the 1960s garage rock band The Seeds, in which he also played bass and harmonica.

Saxon came early in his career under the name " Little Richie Marsh " and blended Doo Wop with pop. After he had changed his stage name to " Sky Saxon ," he began with the " Electra - Fires " and the "Soul Rockers " to play before then in 1965 moved to the psychedelic band The Seeds, the Muddy Waters as America's own Rolling Stones was called.

In the 1990s, he was in Seattle a few spontaneous jam performances with local bands.

As Sky Sunlight Saxon, he was last employed with some musical projects which was also his last band King Arthur 's Court in connection. Sky Saxon founded King Arthur 's Court among others, Djin Aquarian, the former guitarist of Ya Ho Wa 13 The other members are Steve Kozyk aka scones ( bass ), Aaron Basler aka Aon Slane ( keyboardist ) and Justino Polimeni ( Percussioner ).

Sky Saxon began with his former band The Seeds to write songs and to give small concerts in California. He worked with them also, among others, on projects with Kerry Brown and Billy Corgan.

Sky Saxon last lived in Marin County, California.
