Skybreaker

Cloud Pirates is a book by Canadian author Kenneth Oppel, in which it comes to the young aeronaut Matt Cruse. The novel was published by Beltz & Gelberg and paraphrases the novel 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne. The work is the second part of a trilogy, the first volume cloud cat and third parts hot star hunter.

Content

The 16 -year-old student at the Aviation Academy Matt Cruse flies as an intern on the airship Flotsam by The Fist of the devil, an almost everlasting typhoon over the Indian Ocean. The man in the lookout discovers the years lost Zeppelin Hyperion. This is one of the rich inventor and collector Theodore Grunel and is gold and rare specimens of extinct animals harboring. With his girlfriend Kate de Vries and the pilot Hal Slater, he plans to salvage the Hyperion, where they come into competition with the hijackers John Rath.
