Sleepercar

Sleepercar is a side project of musician Jim Ward, the singer and guitarist of Sparta.

History

The project was born during the final tour of the band At The Drive-In, Jim Ward served as a guitarist in the. At first he played the songs one for himself and was inspired to found the idea of a country band. However the plans disappeared first in nothingness, since Ward was too busy with the foundation of Sparta, one of the two successor bands of At The Drive-In (the other successor band The Mars Volta ). After a few years further songwriting and a few live performances, the first album was released on April 22, 2008.
