The Sliač Airport ( Slow Letisko Sliač, historically also Tri Duby ( Three Oaks ) called ) is a military airbase and international airport in central Slovakia. It is located about 3 km northwest of the city Sliač between Zvolen and Banská Bystrica Pohronie. The airport has a 2,400 -meter-long airstrip.
Due to a major overhaul of the runway of the airport had been closed since 2009 to June 2011.
