SM U 136 was a diesel-electric submarine of the German Imperial Navy in the First World War.
Commissioning
U 136 was given on 27 May 1916, in order, was launched on November 7, 1917 at the Kaiserliche Werft in Danzig from the stack and was put into service on August 15, 1918. First and only commander was Lieutenant Hermann Menzel.
U 136 led during the First World War by any company and therefore could sink or damage any ship.
Whereabouts
On February 23, 1919 U 136 was shipped to France. 1921, the boat was scrapped at Cherbourg.
