Smack the Pony is a British sketch comedy that ran from 1999 to 2003 on Channel 4. In Germany, the show was first broadcast in September 6, 2001 to November 29, 2001 on ProSieben. The main actors and authors were Fiona Allen, Doon Mackichan and Sally Phillips. In addition, often played with the performer Sarah Alexander and Darren Boyd.

Some regular topics that negotiated the skits were unsuccessful relationships and competition in the workplace, but also surreal subjects were part of the show. In addition, there were two other regular skits which on the one hand by a group of women treated who are looking for a new partner via television and the other a sketch in which she sang an original song.
