Smith Village is a municipality ( Town) in Oklahoma. At the 2010 census the town had 66 residents. The municipality is a suburb of Oklahoma City and is part of the Oklahoma County.

Geography

The only 0.1 km ² large place is in an urban suburban belt around Oklahoma City. Smith Village has a rectangular floor plan of approximately 400 m by 200 m. In the west the municipality borders on Oklahoma City, on the other three sides it is surrounded by Del City. The southern border is the South East 15th Street.

History

Smith Village after the Second World War. Rose Henrietta Smith, after which the place is named, had inherited a 20 acre farm and began to develop from their possession a rural residential area since 1949. As this settlement should be connected to Del City in 1952, the residents decided instead for self-government.
