Smoothrock Lake

The Smooth Rock Lake is a lake in Thunder Bay District in the western Canadian province of Ontario.

The well branched lake is located in the Wabakimi Provincial Park. It has an area of about 97 square kilometers and lies at an altitude of 351 m. The lake is in the eastern part of the Caribou River, the drainage of the adjacent Caribou Lake, fed. Furthermore, the Smooth Rock Lake receives water from Wabakimi Lake, which flows to him about the Lower Wabakimi Lake. In the northwest of the Berg River drains the Smooth Rock Lake to Ogoki River.

The Smooth Rock Lake is a so-called fly- in lake. Among the fish caught in lake fish species include walleye, northern pike and American lake trout.
