SNCASE

The Société Nationale de Constructions Aéronautiques du Sud -Est (abbr. SNCASE ) was a French aircraft manufacturer. The designation Sud -Est was used.

The SNCASE was founded in 1936 as a national aircraft manufacturer. In it, the manufacturer Lioré & Olivier, Potez, CAMS, Chantiers aéronavals Étienne went Romano ( CAER ) and the Société de Construction Aéronautique Provençale ( SPCA ) on. First, we examined the production of fixed-wing aircraft, partly under license.

After the Second World War began with the manufacture of helicopters, the extraordinarily successful was the development of the Alouette II. Also, the first French jet aircraft, the Caravelle, was developed by the SNCASE.
