Sneaky Sound System

The Sneaky Sound System is an Australian dance-pop band from Sydney.

Band History

2001 Angus McDonald and Daimon Downey learned to know. McDonald had been previously as a musician in New York and London, the road, the native South African Downey sought actually an artist's career. They formed a club in the capital of New South Wales, specializing in the otherwise rather unfrequented nights from Sunday to Monday. The whole thing they called Sneaky Sunday.

It could be at so successful that they released a mix CD for Sony. Then they decided to make their own music and had as Sneaky Sound System 2004 club hit titled Hip Hop Hooray. Then came the search for a singer to Connie Mitchell, who had previously sung for the rock band Primary until it dissolved. Their first single release I Love It brought them the same high level of awareness about the clubs out and a first chart success as well as two nominations at the ARIA Awards, the Australian Music Prize of the record industry.

After the debut album Sneaky Sound System, which included a mix of dance and pop music was born.
