Sokol Olldashi

Sokol Olldashi ( born December 17, 1972 in Durrës, † November 20, 2013 in Krraba ) was an Albanian politician (PD). Between 2007 and 2013 the Department of Transportation was directed by him.

Biography

Sokol Olldashi graduated in 1995 his studies in law at the University of Tirana. He was elected as a deputy of the Democratic Party into Kuvendi i Shqipërisë 2001. Between 2005 and 2009 he was president of his party in the section of Tirana. 2005 also began his career as a minister: to 2007 he held the post of Minister of Interior held, after which he was appointed Minister of Public Works, Transport and Telecommunication in the cabinet I Berisha. Since 2009, he headed the Cabinet Berisha II the Ministry of Public Works and Transport.

Private and his death

Olldashi spoke alongside Albanian, English and Italian. On November 20, 2013, he lost in a car accident on SH3 at Krraba his life. Sokol Olldashi leaves behind his wife and two sons. The funeral took place on 21 November in Tirana in the presence of family, relatives, fellow party members and many citizens instead.
