Solange Knowles

Solange Piaget Knowles (* June 24, 1986 in Houston, Texas) is an American actress, singer, songwriter and music producer.

Life

Solange Knowles was born on 24 June 1986, the daughter of Mathew and Tina Knowles. She is the younger sister of singer and actress Beyoncé.

In February 2004, she married Daniel Smith. Their son came in October 2004 to the world. In October 2007 they announced their divorce.

Musical career

After signing a record deal with Columbia Records released Knowles 2002 their debut single Feelin You, a collaboration with rapper NORE. Early 2003, the album Solo Star, to which contributed, among other things, Jermaine Dupri, The Neptunes, Linda Perry, Timbaland and her sister Beyoncé songs.

As a songwriter Solange Knowles was already working for Destiny 's Child, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, Beyonce and Trin -I -Tee 5:7. In addition to the Christmas album steered 8 Days of Christmas by Destiny's Child at two songs. 2007 saw Solange Knowles in the video for Beyonce's song Get Me Boodied along with Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

On 26 August 2008 second album SoL - AngeL and the Hadley St. Dreams was released in the United States Knowles. The first single was I Decided. On 9 September 2008, the album was also released in Germany.

Solange Knowles since the end of 2011 working on their third album. The first single from the album, entitled Losing You was published in October in the United States. The True EP was released in late November 2012. It was created in collaboration with Dev Hynes.

Acting Career

In 2002, she came across a casting to acting and got a supporting role in the Nickelodeon sitcom Taina. It was followed by 2004, a further guest role in the UPN sitcom One On One, in the episode The Catch. In the same year she got in the comedy feature film Johnson Family Vacation her first starring role.
