Solar eclipse of January 15, 2010

The annular eclipse of 15 January 2010 was the longest solar eclipse with a maximum duration of the annular phase of 11 minutes and 8 seconds for a period of more than 1000 years. The eclipse occurred two days before the perigee ( apogee ) the moon and is also located in January, the earth the sun is relatively close.
