Solar eclipse of July 1, 2000

The partial solar eclipse on 1 July 2000 was the second of four partial solar eclipses in 2000. She was only observed in the South Pacific and southern South America. This eclipse belongs to the Saros old 117, which is nearing its end. Just four Saros periods later in August 2072, it is no longer to be a solar eclipse. That's why it comes at the end of this month to a renewed modest partial eclipse. However, this takes place in the northern polar region, and belongs to the young Saros 155
