Soligor

The Soligor GmbH is a German distributor of photographic and video accessories, electronic devices with headquarters in Leinfelden in Baden- Württemberg. The company was founded in 1968 in Stuttgart as AIC Photo Technik GmbH founded and named in 1993 in today's corporate name to (Allied Impex Corporation).

Under the brand name Soligor lenses were offered for various brands of SLR - for example, Nikon, Pentax, Canon, Konica Minolta and for M42 x 1 mm screw. Comparable third-party for lenses are Sigma, Tamron, Tokina, Zenit, Cosina, Hanimex, etc.

Soligor drove next to all kinds of accessories for photo and video cameras and binoculars and wireless weather stations.

On 8 March 2011, insolvency proceedings, the company was opened by the District Court of Esslingen. The trademark went to the Sphere Vertriebs GmbH, whose Managing Director Erol Polat of the Turkish company Polat Fotoğrafçılık is and is limited to the distribution of photo accessories.
