Soljani
Soljani is a small village in the Croatian region of Slavonia, near the border with Serbia, Bosnia - Herzegovina and is part of the Vukovar- Syrmia. It is located in the southern part of the province Županja - Posavina. The main streets of Soljani go in three directions: to Vrbanja (north), Drenovci (West) and Strošinci (South -East). The name of the village was first mentioned in 1329 ( Sauly, Sali Possesió ) mentioned and comes from the Croatian word for salt (Croatian: Sol ). In Soljani 1554 inhabitants ( 2001) live.
