Sompong Soleb ( Thai: สมปอง สอ เห ลบ; born July 30, 1986 in Satun ) is a Thai football player at the position of a striker. He plays for the Thai Port FC in the Thai Premier League.

Career

His career began Sompong the Thai third division side FC Satun. In 2004 he participated in a talent show, which was looking for talented soccer players. The main prize was a nine -month stay in the youth academy of English club Everton. Together with Rattapol Piyavutiskul and Teerathep Winothai he won this award. In April 2005, he took part in a three weeks trial at Chester City. The club was also willing to give him a contract. Presumably, however, it came out of labor law reasons to no contract with the club. Back in Thailand, he played until the end of 2006 for his hometown club before he moved to the Thai Premier League for the Port Authority in 2007. In 22 games he succeeded only four hits and he went in 2008 to FC Chula United, for whom he plays ever since. In his first season for Chula reach him nine goals and he had so large share of the league.

For the Thai national team, he previously played in the U- 23rd With it, he took part in the 2007 Southeast Asian Games and won the gold medal. In 2009, he also belongs to the squad Southeast Asia Games.
