Sono (band)

SONO (Latin: sound ) is a band from Hamburg, founded in 2001 consisting of Lennart A. Salomon ( vocals, guitar) Florian Sikorski (keyboards ) and Martin Weiland (keyboards, DJ).

Stylistically, SONO moves between pop and electronica.

History and characteristics

Since 1995, F. Sikorski and M. Weiland jointly produce electronic music and professionally go both activities within the music industry by: F. Sikorski is a sound engineer and owner of the recording studio " Maratone Music", where, for example, photographs of Madonna, Britney Spears and Kelly Clarkson mixed were. M. Weiland is engaged in utilizing music industry in the field label and distribution.

LA Solomon, original drummer, singer and guitarist of many local bands in the Hamburg area, was joined by 2001, after which SONO was founded. He is active as a composer and music and, for among other things, funk and rock band project Jeroboam.

Musically SONO move in the broadest sense in the area pop with strong influences from the styles of techno, house and electro. This certain musical diversity brings SONO a considerable fan base, which is composed of different scenes.

Outside the studio work SONO offer different live situations, from DJ Live sequencing sets to stage shows including multi -headed rhythm section.
