Sonohra
Sonohra is an Italian band that was founded by the brothers Diego and Luca Fainello from Verona. They were nominated for the MTV Europe Music Awards 2008 in the category " Best Italian Act".
Biography
Luca (born 27 February 1982) and Diego Fainello (born 27 November 1986), both born in Verona and first appeared under the name Prince of Galles, 2ttO and Domino and played in bars and back rooms in her hometown of songs known performers. In 2007, she inspired a girl on tour in Venice to write the song L' amore, which was produced by Roberto Tini. With this song they performed at the Festival di Sanremo 2008, an Italian music competition of the city of Sanremo in the Youth category and occupied immediately took first place. On 29 February 2008 the album Liberi da semper was published.
Once in Naples, they won in the Best New Act category on 15 May 2008 in the TRL Awards 2008 and the second single from her debut album, Love Show was coupled out on the following day. The third single Salvami was finally released on September 5. The song is about a good friend, the lost brothers in a traffic accident.
They also won in the categories Best Band and Best New Act in the Italian Kid 's Choice Awards and was nominated at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2008 in the category " Best Italian Act".
In November 2008, their first Live-CD/DVD appeared with the name Sweet Home Verona, which was launched on 6 September at the Teatro Romano. The songs on this Live-CD/DVD only be accompanied by an orchestra of strings and violins. The DVD made it to first go to the first place of the Italian DVD - Charts and the album into the Top 30 of the album charts.
On March 17, 2009, the Spanish version of the album Liberi was in South America Libres, semper there. The first single from it faciles Besos, the Spanish version of the song Love Show with three bonus tracks L' amore ( Italian), Io e te ( Italian) and Love Show ( English ) reached in Costa Rica ( # 10 ), Mexico (# 25 ), Argentina ( # 35) and Chile (# 79) the charts. In order to present their album they traveled on March 22 to Latin America and gave concerts in almost all countries.
On May 14 they traveled back to Italy and were given at the TRL Awards 2009 in Trieste, where they performed the English version of their song Io e te, the award in the Best riempipiazza category.
The name
The name of the duo Sonohra has several meanings:
- The name of a desert in Mexico, California and Arizona
- If the name is pronounced quickly, it like " suono ora ", which is Italian and literally translated means sounds: " Now I play ," or " now I make music ." In a figurative sense it can also mean " music ".
- The name of a type of music in which there is no discrimination
