Sons of Anarchy: Songs of Anarchy Vol 2 is the second soundtrack release for the American television series Sons of Anarchy. The album was released on November 19, 2012 on Columbia Records.
Genesis
The soundtrack includes songs from the fifth season of the series. As with the previous album is in the songs to cover versions of popular rock songs, but more original songs this time are included. Jane 's Addiction, Greg Holden, Joshua James and Noah Gundersen took part in the soundtrack. The majority of the songs comes from, just like with the previous album, the group Forest Rangers with changing singers, including the actress Katey Sagal in To Sir With Love. This studio band made up, among other things, made up of musicians from Jane 's Addiction.
Jane 's Addiction took on an exclusive cover version of the Rolling Stones hits Sympathy for the Devil. Other cover versions are Lulu's To Sir With Love, The Passenger by Iggy Pop, Stevie Wonder's Higher Ground, John Fogerty Travelin 'Band, and No Milk Today by Herman 's Hermits.
