Sorgschrofen and tines

The Sorgschrofen is a 1635 meter high mountain in the Allgäu Alps. A secondary peak of Sorgschrofen the tines ( 1613 m).

Its peak point is the only land link to the territory of Austria belonging municipality Jung wood with the remaining area of the Tyrol. The Sorgschrofen is a popular hiking mountain. The hikers can climb the Sorgschrofen in two ways: On the basis of Jung Wood directly to the main peak or lower yoke over the tines, which lies 265 meters to the southwest of the main summit and also lies on the border. The excess over the ridge to the main summit is only to experienced hikers who can form absolutely sure-footed and free because, although the path designated and partially fixed cables, but is often very exposed.
