Sotsha Dlamini

Sotsha Ernest Dlamini ( born 1940 ) is a Swazi politician and served from 1986 to 1989 Prime Minister of Swaziland.

Despite his surname he is not one of the many members of the royal family. However, he belongs to the same clan as bourgeois Swazi.

He held the office at the personal request of King Mswati III. , Who wanted a reformer from outside the royal family. Professionally, he worked until 1984 in the criminal investigation. Thereafter, until his appointment, he worked as chief of security on a sugar plantation.

In addition to the economic reforms he supported the royal position critical of the apartheid policies of South Africa and the ANC secretly supported.
