South American Basketball Championship 1942

The Basketball South American Championship 1942, the tenth Basketball South American Championship, took place between the 7th and March 17, 1942 held in Santiago de Chile, Chile, which hosted the championship for the third time. Winner was the national team of Argentina, which was the second time in a row, win for the fourth time, the title. Preliminary round

Each team played against each opponent once so that each team four games (a total of ten games were held ) had to be completed. Pro victory, there were two points for a defeat at least one point.
