South Malaita Island

Maramasike, also South Malaita or Small Malaita, is an island in the Malaita Province of the island nation of the Solomon Islands. The about 480 square kilometer island is situated immediately southeast of the island of Malaita and separated therefrom by the 14.6 km long and usually only a few hundred meters wide Maramasike passage whose area is a protected wetland. On the island Sa'a is spoken.
