Spanish bowline
The Spanish Bowline is a knot, beaten two eyes in which, in the middle of the rope.
Name and history
There is a simple and a double Spanish bowline. Because you can put your legs in the eye, it is also called chair nodes.
Application
- The Spanish Bowline is usually used only as an ornamental knot.
- The simple Spanish bowline was formerly used in the shipping industry as a duplicate " crow's foot " for spreading the load across two eyes, or the merging of two loads on a rope.
Tie
Grasping with the left finger and thumb to enlarge the eye caused by stuck " upper " bays by the " lower " eyes and (down) to increase or extend. The ends tight and get ready.
