And Their Families is an American animated short film part of Lou Lilly and Lew Landers from the year 1942.

Action

The film shows rhinos, alligators, birds and bears, enter the humorous comments and jokes, as well as songs for the best. Among other things, is to see a bear family singing the song Darktown Strutter 's Ball.

Production

And Their Families was created as part of the popular series of short films Speaking of Animals. Here, taking pictures of animals by rotoscoping were provided with separately filmed mouths and so brought to the " Talk ". The film was released on June 4, 1942. Additional parts of the Speaking -of-Animals series, which ran until 1949, were, for example, the Oscar-nominated short film Down on the Farm, as well as the Oscar-winning short film Who's Who in Animal Land.
